NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Annual Maintenance Contracts

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the Merchantville – Pennsauken Water Commission in the County of Camden, State of New Jersey for:

Said bids will be received, opened and read aloud in public at the administrative offices of the Merchantville – Pennsauken Water Commission at 6751 Westfield Avenue, Pennsauken, New Jersey on December 10, 2024 at 11:00 am.  Specifications are available at 6751 Westfield Avenue, Pennsauken, New Jersey.

Bids received beyond the bid-opening deadline will be unopened and returned.

Separate bids are invited on all contracts.  Specifications are available at the aforementioned office of the Water Commission.  There will be additional charges for mailing the specifications. 

The Merchantville – Pennsauken Water Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part, and also to waive any informality in any bid or bids so received.

Bids must be made on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein, and must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the contract on the outside, addressed to Merchantville-Pennsauken Water Commission and must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Bid Bond or Cashier’s Check drawn to the order of Merchantville – Pennsauken Water Commission for ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid, provided said security need not be more than $20,000.00.  All bid guarantees shall be accompanied by an executed consent from an approved surety company licensed to conduct business in the State of New Jersey, agreeing to furnish the required Performance Bond upon the award of contract.

All materials shall be delivered and unloaded by contractor at sites as directed by the Merchantville – Pennsauken Water Commission.

Bidders are required to comply with all pertinent New Jersey State and Federal Laws and Statues including, but not limited to, the provisions of N.J.P.L. 1975, C.127 as revised or amended and the provisions of NJ P.L. 1977, C.33 as revised or amended.  Bidders are required to comply with the provisions of P.L. 1999, C.238, “The Public Works Contractor Registration Act.” Also submit proof of NJ Business Registration P.L 2004,c.57 as revised or amended.
