The Merchantville-Pennsauken Water Commission remains steadfast in our commitment to provide our customers with clean, safe and reliable water during the COVID-19 public health emergency. As we continue to proceed with our post-Covid operations planning, we’re looking at additional ways we can help our customers as we all emerge and start to reacclimate to the post-Covid world.
The MPWC’s participation in Governor Murphy’s voluntary moratorium preventing shutoffs to residential and commercial customers during the COVID-19 pandemic is set to expire on October 15, 2020.
We have not yet chosen an exact date for resuming service terminations, but we are urging customers that are experiencing financial hardship due to Covid-19 to contact us as soon as possible to make arrangements to continue their water service. The MPWC’s Customer Support Staff will work with you to determine your ability to pay and to reach a mutually agreeable and comfortable assistance plan to ensure that your service is not interrupted.
It is imperative that you contact us at your earliest convenience to make arrangements. Please do not ignore our attempts to contact you.
